Peace returns to the garden machinery and equipment sector. After two years of recession, the national market returned to positive territory last year, recording growth of one and a half percent on an annual basis

Garden equipment, a reversal of trend
Certainly not an increase capable of absorbing the drops of 15 and two percent and nine percent that occurred in 2022 and 2023 respectively, but a reversal of trend that could give, according to Comagarden, the association of manufacturers in the sector, the go-ahead for a recovery of the national market towards that record of one million and 600 thousand machines sold in 2021. The starting point is the one million and 370 thousand units marketed in 2024, with traditional lawnmowers and robot lawnmowers that have driven the market upwards, recording growth of 11 and nine percent on an annual basis respectively.
