The range of Jcb branded “TeleMaster” telescopic loaders has recently been extended with the launch of the new Jcb Tm110 Agri model, a machine just over one and a half metres wide and therefore designed to tackle tasks that take place indoors or in narrow spaces

Only 156 centimetres wide and 220 centimetres high, the new Jcb “Tm110 Agri” telescopic loader at first glance might seem like a machine designed to cope with secondary or part-time agricultural activities. In reality, all you have to do is access the controls to realise that you are dealing with a decidedly professional-looking vehicle, designed to cope with handling needs carried out in narrow or closed spaces, activities that can only be tackled with super compact machines but which do not make you pay for this connotation in terms of performance.

Jcb’s “TM110 Agri” responds well to these connotations by being able to show off a maximum capacity of 1 quintal at full height, an extension that allows the arm joint to be brought to the limit of three and a half metres in height and a towing capacity of seven and a half quintals with an optional “slow advance speed” for motorised equipment.
Powered by a three-cylinder Perkins series “403J-Ei7T” turbodiesel with a nominal capacity of one litre and 700 cubic centimetres and delivering 50 horsepower, it operates via a single-speed hydrostatic transmission that, in addition to allowing a maximum speed of 30 kilometres/hour, integrates an optional slow advance function to separate the control of the ground speed and the engine when using accessories that must operate at full load but with measured advances as happens, for example, in the case of feed buckets or sweepers.
innovative and functional solutions
The attachments are powered by a hydraulic service that operates through a single outlet located at the end of the arm capable of generating a constant flow of oil of 47 litres/minute taken from the 50 litres/minute gear pump that also powers the hydraulic cylinders responsible for the arm movements. The sharing of the pressure-compensated flow allows more than one action to be performed at a time for faster and smoother handling and loading cycles. As an option, the arm can also be equipped with “Smooth Ride System” suspension to absorb sudden movements and minimise the risk of overturning or shifting of loads when the loader passes over an uneven surface, also offering the operator a more comfortable driving experience.

Also planned are axles equipped with electro-hydraulically lockable differentials in case the machine has to operate on slippery or uneven terrain and the choice between two different configurations at the driving position level. The machines intended to operate mainly indoors can be equipped with a four-pillar ROPS-compliant steel roof with integrated front and rear windows to protect from the heaviest rain, while for open uses you can opt for a fully glazed and heated two-door cab.

With the addition of the “TM110 Agri” and the mid-range “TM280” and “TM280S” models, JCB’s telescopic wheel loader range now includes nine different models with power ratings ranging from 590 to 173 horsepower, lifting capacities ranging from 11 to 41 quintals and lifting heights ranging from three and a half metres to almost six metres.
