Landini, a historic tractor brand founded in 1884 and belonging to the Argo Tractors group, is officially registered in the Register of Historic Brands of National Interest, a prestigious recognition that enhances the long tradition and cultural identity of a brand that is a symbol of the history and evolution of Italian industry

Confirmation has come from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, concluding a process initiated by the company, which is reserved for businesses with at least 50 years of activity.
Historic Trademarks are a key expression of Italian creativity and entrepreneurship, as well as a cornerstone of the country’s global image. They represent a recognition that tells the story of a culture built on talent, expertise, history, organization, and a unique, unrepeatable identity model. Within this context, Landini has demonstrated it meets all the necessary requirements, confirming its role as a pillar of Made in Italy.
Over 140 Years of Activity
In fact, in 2024, Landini celebrated its 140th anniversary, a journey that began with the founding of Officine Landini in Fabbrico, the town in Reggio Emilia that still hosts the headquarters of Argo Tractors S.p.A. today.
“This recognition is a great source of pride for the Argo Tractors Group and for everyone who, with passion and dedication, has written and continues to write the story of Landini,” said Cav. Lav. Valerio Morra, President of Argo Tractors. “Being included in the Register of Historic Trademarks is an important milestone in the protection and enhancement of our industrial and cultural heritage. We are increasingly proud to represent Made in Italy around the world, expanding our international presence with a well-structured and professional sales network.
Innovation, which is the core of our activity, combined with a passion for agricultural mechanization, is the driving force that inspires and guides us in designing cutting-edge tractors. Argo Tractors, through its Research & Development division, will continue to invest in innovation, quality, and sustainability, keeping alive the pioneering spirit that has defined Landini since the beginning, to face future challenges and support the growth of the sector.”
Since 2021, the Reggio Emilia-based multinational has also been a member of the Motor Valley association, which represents the area in northern Italy globally renowned for mechatronic production and home to some of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.
