Cover Story – Macchine Trattori September 2025
The cover story is dedicated to Krone agricultural trailers. The range begins with the multifunctional “Gx” and “Tx” solutions, joined by the “Ax” and “Mx” series self-loading trailers. This product line was recently expanded with the launch of the “Rx” and “Zx” models equipped with the new “OptiGrass” cutting system.
Tractors
In the new issue, Macchine Trattori focuses on Landini’s “Mistral 2” tractors, which today represent one of the finest examples of a high-performance compact tractor designed for horticulture, orchards, vineyards, and greenhouse work.
Also among tractors, the September issue also focuses on the McCormick “X7.418 Swb Vt-Drive” tractors, which, in terms of efficiency and versatility, are at the top of the high-power, four-cylinder open-field segment.
Large Machines and Material Handlers
Among large agricultural machinery, during the month dedicated to the grape harvest, Macchine Trattori explores the features of Braud grape harvesters, among the most efficient machines in the industry in terms of productivity and harvest care. Extremely useful for a variety of operations, they are particularly suited for both the initial pre-pruning stages of the vineyard and the final harvest.
Continuing with specialized machinery, Case Ih presents the “Axial Flow” combine harvester. Available in three different series for a total of six models, they cover five power classes and feature a high level of digitalization.
Along the same lines, Claas is also expanding its offering. With the new additions to the mid- and high-end “Trion” and “Lexion” combine harvesters launched in mid-July, it also offers an efficient range of telehandlers, round balers, and forage harvesters.
Equipment
In the range of equipment, Rinieri offers the “Meglio” fertilizer spreader, designed for minimal space and maximum results. One of its strengths is its ability to concentrate nutrients in a particularly narrow strip of soil at the base of the plants. Compact and lightweight, the “Meglio” spreaders also have a width of 120 centimeters, allowing them to be used even in orchards with narrow row spacing.
For finer tillage, Seppi offers the Seppi “S9” series mulchers, which focus on the efficient management of residues from extensive crops thanks to a high-speed rotor.
Components
In the components sector, Alliance has established itself with the “Agri Star II” tire series, which has surpassed one million units in production in just five years.
Trelleborg, meanwhile, is relaunching its “Progressive Traction” series. Initially aimed only at high- and very high-power tractors, the range has recently undergone a significant expansion with the launch of new sizes in the “TM 800” series and the latest introduction of the “TM 900” series.
Vintage tractor
This month’s vintage section is dedicated to Calzolari-branded tractors. Launched in 1951, with their equal-diametric, drive-and-steer wheels, they could venture anywhere, proving far more practical than their engine performance would have led one to expect.
