Valtra launches voice assistance on tractors

First smartphones, then cars and trucks, and now tractors. Voice assistance is rapidly spreading across all industrial sectors, and with self-propelled vehicles, it was only logical that it would eventually make its way to agricultural machinery

Valtra pioneered this technology with its “Talking Tractor” prototype system, which allows operators to interact with the machine by voice, receiving answers to their questions on the on-board monitor or on their mobile devices.

Presented at Agritechnica and currently only available in English, German, French, and Finnish, the system is intended to be an intelligent assistant trained to answer technical/operational questions, providing access to the full range of Valtra manuals, smart farming guides, telemetry data, and work session logs.

It is compatible with any Valtra model equipped with “Valtra Connect,” both new and updated, and can also be used while driving with the settings adjusted to keep the assistant actively listening. Release dates or prices have not yet been announced.
