The event’s key machinery was therefore featured, while the exhibition also included a packed program of events aimed at analyzing the sector’s trends and issues, along with its most concrete and current opportunities for commercial development.

With this in mind, and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), which promotes the internationalization of Italian businesses, more than 120 official delegates representing 35 African, Asian, and European countries were invited. Among the former, notable attendees included operators from the main target countries of the Mattei Plan—Mauritania, Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Angola, Tanzania, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia—as well as those from countries that, while not bordering the Mediterranean, constitute its ideal hinterland and share some geo-climatic, soil, and agricultural characteristics with the former. Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Jordan first and foremost.

During the fair, there were more than 1,200 business-to-business meetings aimed at purchasing next-generation mechanical equipment and systems for the cereal, wine, olive and olive oil, fruit and vegetable, livestock, bioenergy and garden maintenance sectors, a sector that found space for the first time in the Bari exhibition area, which as a whole saw the presence of over five thousand models of next-generation machinery and equipment, produced by 350 manufacturing industries.
