FendtONE 2026: More Light, More Features for an Even Smarter Tractor Cab

Originally, the tractor cab had a single purpose: protecting the operator from dust and harsh weather conditions. Over time, increasingly advanced comfort features were introduced, from climate control systems to suspension technologies, transforming the driver’s station into the true command center of the machine.

For years, Fendt has been enhancing the operator experience through the FendtOne cab concept, the interface available on the manufacturer’s latest tractor ranges. Today, the system takes another step forward with new software features designed to simplify tractor management, increase comfort, and support long working days in the field.

The new cab makes its debut on the Fendt 1100 Vario MT, unveiled at the Farm Progress Show, North America’s largest outdoor agricultural exhibition. At the center of the workstation are advanced joysticks, digital terminals, and intelligent controls that manage the tractor’s primary operational functions.

New LED Lighting for Around-the-Clock Productivity

One of the most significant upgrades focuses on visibility and illumination. The new Vision LED and UltraVision LED lighting packages dramatically improve productivity during nighttime operations.

Both configurations feature twelve roof-mounted work lights integrated into the cab structure. In the highest specification, light output reaches an impressive 84,300 lumens, providing extensive field coverage and exceptional workspace visibility.

Up to four different lighting profiles can be stored directly through the onboard terminal. Operators can quickly select the ideal setup according to the task being performed. This is especially useful when working alongside a combine harvester at night, as the system allows light intensity to be reduced on the adjacent side of the tractor to avoid dazzling other operators.

Greater Comfort and Reduced Cab Maintenance

The new FendtOne cab also introduces a range of features aimed at improving everyday operator comfort.

These include a laminated glass windshield, automatic climate control, a rear-view camera, and a side mounting rail for additional display terminals. An optional integrated refrigerator is also available, helping keep food and beverages cool during hot working days. Particularly noteworthy is the passive air filter cleaning system. Airflow generated by the cooling circuit, combined with a cyclonic cleaning effect, helps keep the cab air filter cleaner for longer. This reduces routine maintenance requirements and improves operational uptime, especially in highly dusty environments.

TMS Flex and Trailer Brake Assistant: Enhanced Control in the Field

Alongside the cab updates, Fendt has expanded its software capabilities across its tractor lineup.

Since July, the new TMS Flex system allows operators to use both the accelerator pedal and the speed control lever simultaneously. Previously, users had to choose between one operating mode or the other. With the new system, both controls remain active and can seamlessly take over from one another at any time.

The electronics continuously optimize engine speed and transmission ratio based on the requested travel speed, helping reduce fuel consumption. Operators can therefore use the pedal during road transport and instantly switch to the speed lever when a constant working speed is required.

The feature will also be available for many tractors already in operation through a retrofit kit consisting of an updated joystick and new software package.

The Trailer Brake Assistant has also been upgraded. In addition to automatic operation, a new manual mode allows operators to set a fixed braking pressure of 1.6 bar or proportionally modulate braking force up to 4.4 bar. This solution is particularly valuable on long descents and hilly terrain.

Advanced Precision Farming Technologies

Significant improvements also affect guidance systems and precision farming technologies.

Operators can now save multiple headland guidance lines within the same field, eliminating the need to overwrite previously recorded paths when switching between implements with different working widths.

The Tramline Control system has also evolved. The feature now enables tramline planning using half the implement working width, providing greater flexibility for field operation management.

With these innovations, Fendt reinforces its strategy of transforming the tractor cabin “FendtOne” into an increasingly connected, automated, and comfortable workspace capable of improving productivity, safety, and efficiency in modern agricultural operations.
