Two models from a series of tractors labeled “90” launched by FiatAgri starting in 1984 and which have gone down in history. Similar in appearance, but different in mechanics, this is evident even in today’s reproductions despite being produced by the same manufacturer

FiatAgri launched its “90” series machines in 1984, dividing them into three different families based on engine performance, indicated by the first number of each identification code. The low-to-medium range tractors offered power outputs ranging from 55 to 85 horsepower, powered by three- and four-cylinder engines, while the high-powered machines ranged from 115 to 180 horsepower, powered by six-cylinder units.

In between were three connecting machines with power outputs ranging from 90 to 110 horsepower, powered by five- and six-cylinder engines, respectively, coupled with synchronized gearboxes with a total of 15+3 and 20+4 gears.
In fact, the “90” series encompassed tractors with different technical characteristics but characterized by the same design, just as the replicas of the “80-90” and “110-90” models produced in 1:32 scale by the French manufacturer Replicagri, always known for their faithfulness to the scale models, are also similar. The two models have little in common, so much so that the “80-90” has opening doors while those of the “110-90” are fixed.

The “80-90” lights are also made of clear plastic, while those of the “110/90” feature only plastic at the front and splashes of red paint at the rear. Both models feature Siku lights and lifts, although on the models photographed in these pages they have been replaced with optional brass parts that better replicate those found on the original machines, also adding an adjustable third point.
The wheels are decidedly unique, with the “80-90” rims white and the “110-90” yellow, but above all with different tires on the front and rear axles. The cabin interiors on both models are beautiful, especially the roof lining complete with ventilation vents.
