More controlled and precise sowing thanks to new digital solutions — Miplus System. This is MaterMacc’s proposal for optimizing work efficiency in terms of both time and results

The saying goes that “fast and good don’t go together.” That may be true when work depends solely on the operator’s intuition, since even the most experienced person cannot possibly monitor every change the external environment imposes on field operations. On the other hand, modern digital systems make it possible to have every control literally at your fingertips through tools designed to optimize key agricultural practices — especially sowing and fertilization.
This is precisely the goal of Miplus, the digital system developed by MaterMacc, accessible via an app available for both iOS and Android devices. The selected device — whether a tablet or a smartphone — connects wirelessly to the control unit installed on the seeder, allowing operators to monitor operational data for models with up to 36 rows.
The sowing process is continuously monitored by the app, which tracks technical data such as average seed spacing and seeding density across the entire working area or individual rows. Complementing this are sowing quality metrics — including the missing seed and double seed indices — calculated according to ISO 7256/1, which defines a standardized method for evaluating sowing performance.
Using such a rigorous system for assessing machine operating conditions is essential for ensuring optimal performance across a wide range of speeds, enabling excellent sowing quality even at 12 km/h.
Eight Functions in One Click

The app offers a wide array of features, including partial and total area and hour counters, as well as monitoring of seed spacing and density on each row, along with overall averages. By recording the working speed, the app can instantly calculate a specific indicator of sowing productivity.
It also enables row control, allowing the operator to manually deactivate up to 36 sowing units. Continuous monitoring of vacuum pressure and fan speed — both crucial to seeding precision — is also provided.
Frequently used settings can be saved for future operations, while sowing statistics remain available to the user to support optimized management of subsequent field activities.
Finally, a cloud-based service and fleet management system are available by subscription, ensuring data accessibility and operational control anytime, anywhere.
