Long self-proclaimed as the showcase of innovation in the sector, Agritechnica has traditionally and by vocation aimed to be the trade fair where the most advanced solutions shaping the present and future of agricultural machinery take form.
This year, the German exhibition once again upheld this status, which BKT translated into a display of its most recent product innovations. These were arranged within the company’s stand to highlight the Indian group’s commitment to developing tires capable of allowing increasingly powerful and high-performing machines to operate at peak efficiency while safeguarding the soil from compaction risks that could undermine its productivity.
It is no coincidence that the well-known plexiglass tractor accompanying BKT at major industry fairs was equipped with “AgriMax V-Flecto” tires— a product line dedicated to self-propelled sprayers, VF-rated, and therefore able to operate at low pressure with wide contact surfaces. This allows a larger number of lugs to touch the ground, ensuring excellent traction while also offering maximum soil protection.
The “AgriMax ProHarvest VF” series is also VF-rated and designed for the latest generation of large self-propelled harvesters. At Agritechnica 2025, it was expanded with the new 1020/55 R38 CFO size which, like the other sizes already available, features a reinforced polyester carcass combined with three layers of steel belts that provide superior resistance to deformation.
Thanks to this, the AgriMax ProHarvest VF tires can withstand up to 40% more load than standard tires at the same inflation pressure, enabling broader and more even weight distribution on the ground and significantly reducing the risk of soil compaction.
Also aimed at soil protection are the “AgriForce BK T71” tracks, designed for very high-horsepower tractors and made with a compound that offers maximum resistance to cuts, tears, and abrasion. The same objective is supported by a reinforced carcass with four plies of high-strength steel cables, while the optimized tread design combines high field traction with maximum comfort when driving on the road.
