Decorated in a farm-themed setting to make visitors feel at home, the Massey Ferguson stand showcased, among its most striking innovations, the tractors Massey Ferguson Mf 5S series farm tractors and the Mf 3 Specialty series specialized tractors equipped with Agco continuous-gear transmissions
The Massey Ferguson stand in Hannover was truly spectacular. Upon entering, visitors found themselves immersed in a sort of multifunctional farm designed to showcase machines and equipment in realistic settings, thus highlighting the operational potential of the various vehicles.
The latter, in the case of the “MF 5S” series farm tractors and the “MF 3 Specialty” series specialized tractors, featured an exclusive transmission solution: a single-range continuous-gear transmission from AGCO.
In both cases, these units achieve speeds ranging from a minimum of one hundred meters/hour to a maximum of 40 kilometers/hour, and in both cases, they complement the existing transmissions, effectively expanding the company’s offering.
This means that the “Mf 5S” series tractors can be purchased with “Dyna-4”, “Dyna-6” or “Dyna-Vt” transmissions, while the specialized tractors will be positioned among the most advanced proposals in the sector, offering the “Dyna-Vt” groups as an alternative to the “PowerShuttle” and “SpeedShift” transmissions. Also on display at the stand are the new high-power “Mf 8S Xtra” series tractors, which will replace the previous “Mf 8S” series models.
They were represented by the “MF 8S.305 Xtra2” model, which made its international debut as the “Th” series telescopic handlers, equipped with a new “Dyna-CT” transmission designed to cope with intensive applications. The centralized and automatic greasing system installed on a “Fl.4121” front loader by MF By You, the Massey division responsible for meeting the most demanding customization requests from customers as standard, was also designed for these latter applications.
