Vk Tyre: floating specializated

Distributed in Italy by Adr Group, Vk Tyre flotation tires are produced in three distinct product families, each designed to meet specific functional requirements.

All products share reliable structural designs and rubber compounds engineered for wear resistance.

At a time when agriculture is increasingly specializing in open-field production, the tires fitted to trailers and implements—the so-called “flotation” tires—could not remain unaffected by this trend. This is evidenced by the range offered by Vk Tyre, an Indian brand recently introduced to the Italian market through Adr Group; the brand is known for the excellent price-performance ratio of its products, as well as for its specialization in tread design, internal structures, and available sizes.

Notable among these sizes are the 10.0/75-15.3, 11.5/80-15.3, and 400/60-15.5—the most common specifications for agricultural trailers, balers, and implements, and those that best showcase the performance capabilities of these Indian-made tires. Vk Tyre offers three product families in this category—designated “Vk 101,” “Vk 103,” and “Vk 105″—with the first featuring a clean, linear tread design aimed at creating a large ground contact area; this minimizes rolling resistance, thereby reducing noise and vibration.

They offer maximum soil protection and are ideal for equipping vehicles that operate in the field but frequently travel over hard, abrasive surfaces. In contrast, the “Vk 105” tires are specifically designed for machinery that frequently operates in the field, requiring tires that provide maximum grip while simultaneously preserving the soil.

The tread features a lugged design to ensure stability and resistance to static and dynamic lateral forces, yet it also incorporates a substantial central contact band that helps distribute ground pressure across the entire footprint.

This latter objective is the primary focus for the “Vk 103” tires, which are specifically engineered to minimize rolling resistance; they feature an industrial-style tread made from compounds highly resistant to wear.

This design also enables them to withstand heavy loads without compromising the stability of the implements. In short, there are three families and three distinct operational profiles, yet they all share load capacities fully in line with industry averages, incorporate state-of-the-art design solutions, and boast build quality certified both by adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards and by the rigorous daily use of these tires by hundreds of thousands of farmers in over 50 countries worldwide.
