Eima 2026 towards sold out

Eima 2026 is in full swing, with potential exhibitors approaching the previous show’s attendance of 1,750.

While the key events of the event have been confirmed, a new and unique competition, the “ADI Design Exhibit Award,” has been dedicated to exhibitors, evaluating the best exhibit designs.

Promoted by the Italian Industrial Design Association in collaboration with FederUnacoma, the award aims to encourage exhibitors to contribute to raising the quality of the event through high-level displays in terms of aesthetics and functionality. With this in mind, FederUnacoma has also planned, through its “Academy of Higher Industrial Training,” a specific course on exhibition management, as well as eight seminars organized in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the BolognaFiere exhibition organization, which will accompany exhibiting companies until the November event.

A bubbling exposure is thus looming, even though there are induced fears of ongoing conflicts, particularly the one triggered by the US and Israeli aggression against Iran, which is restricting supplies of fuel and raw materials throughout the West. A forecast report presented at the end of March by the Confindustria Research Center suggests that if the conflict is resolved soon, the consequences could be minimal, but if it drags on until June, global trade growth could slow by more than three and a half percentage points.

Rising costs for energy supplies, pesticides, and fertilizers would reduce businesses’ income levels, and thus their willingness to invest in new machinery, whose selling prices would have since been affected by inflation, which is currently difficult to estimate. Hence the call for the Government to take specific measures to contain any potential rise in industrial costs, while simultaneously incentivizing companies’ purchases of agricultural machinery. Structural and permanent interventions are ideal.
