The Goldoni brand is still experiencing a period of great uncertainty regarding the survival of its industrial activities

The difficulties plaguing one of Italy’s historic agricultural mechanization brands seem endless. Goldoni continues to experience significant uncertainty regarding the survival of its industrial operations following the presentation of its relaunch plan by the Turkish multinational Asko, poised to take over from Belgian owner Keestrack.
The Turkish group’s proposal calls for a reduction in staff at the Migliarina di Carpi facility of over 50 percent, which would leave only 41 employees working from the current 97, contrary to the commitment Keestrack signed last year with the unions to maintain full employment.
However, Asko does not intend to reinstate this agreement in the event of a takeover, deeming it incompatible with its relaunch plan, which focuses on achieving financial equilibrium through a two-year phase dedicated to streamlining industrial operations to avoid continuing loss-making production.
