Horsch 2026 series with Italy in the heart

The German manufacturer is revamping its range. The new Horsch 2026 series expands many of its series with new models and new technological solutions that are highly functional for Italian agriculture

Soil cultivation, crop protection, and fertilization — three technical areas that approach productivity from different perspectives, yet all converge toward the same goal: farm profitability, which should primarily be built on sound agronomic practices. These diverse challenges can now be addressed with minimal production costs only by relying on modern, efficient machinery — such as those designed and manufactured by Horsch, the German brand specialized in conservation tillage, but also offering equipment for seeding, crop protection, and, more recently, fertilization.

The product lines from the Schwandorf-based company cover multiple fronts, and the same can be said for their evolution — achieved both through the launch of new models and continuous improvement of existing solutions. These updates, introduced at the end of August, affected seeders, harrows, cultivators, and sprayers, while also adding two brand-new entries: one for liquid fertilization under the Leeb brand and another dedicated to forestry work.

Both will be officially presented to the public at the German agricultural machinery trade fair Agritechnica, held in Hanover this November. However, it can already be revealed that the machine dedicated to liquid fertilization is called the “Leeb Xeric 14 FS”, available with working widths of 36, 39, or 48 meters and a tank capacity of 14 cubic meters.

As for forestry operations, Horsch is introducing new log transport trailers called “Pirk MP”, featuring load capacities of 16 and 20 tons, supported during loading and unloading by crane arms extending up to ten meters.

Regarding seeders, the “Pronto,” “Maestro,” and “Avatar” series have been updated. During the pre-launch of the 2026 Horsch innovations, the company also unveiled the final version of the “Leeb VT” self-propelled sprayer, which had previously been shown as a prototype in 2023.

Equipment for Every Need

Whether it’s for final soil finishing or reduced tillage techniques, Horsch offers a complete range of solutions. The lineup of cultivators has been expanded with the new “Fortis LT” series, which allows both shallow post-plowing tillage and more intensive work reaching depths of up to 30 centimeters.

To fully benefit from its four-bar tine configuration, powerful tractors are required — up to 500 horsepower for the top-of-the-line six-meter, 75-centimeter working width version.

The “Joker” series has also been expanded with three new “Joker HD” models, offering working widths between 4.15 and 6.15 meters. These cultivators ensure a more aggressive mixing of the worked soil and crop residues, thanks to a new, sharper disk angle configuration. Two disk diameters are available: 620 mm, ideal for depths up to 15 cm, and 680 mm, allowing operations up to 20 cm.

Finally, the “Cruiser” cultivator series has been extended upwards with the introduction of the “Cruiser 12 XL”, joining the existing “Cruiser 7” and “Cruiser 9 XL” models, all equipped with “FlexGrip” tines.

Maximum Precision as the Goal

Three innovations expand Horsch’s range of seeding equipment. The first is the “Pronto 9 DC” seeder, with a working width of nine meters, marking the start of a new generation of disc seeders. The model also features an increased hopper capacity — now up to 6,000 liters, divided into two compartments for simultaneous distribution of seed and fertilizer.

Also new is the parallelogram coulter design, which enhances one of the seeder’s key strengths: maintaining a constant seeding depth even in heavy or stony soils.

The “Maestro” series has been enriched with the “Maestro 12 TX”, a 12-row trailed pneumatic precision seeder designed for large farms and contractors. The latter can particularly benefit from its high operating speed — up to 15 km/h — and the ability to adjust row spacing from 45 to 75 centimeters in 5-centimeter increments.

Finally, within the range of seeders combined with rotary harrows, the “Versa” series now includes the “Versa 7 SW”, with a working width of 7.2 meters. This size best matches the commonly used 36-meter sprayer boom widths, allowing perfect coverage in exactly five passes.
