A double debut from Lindner. For the first time, the Austrian manufacturer offers the market a 175-horsepower tractor and, also for the first time, equips it with an Fpt Industrial engine

The new “Lintrac 160 LDrive” presents truly exclusive features, combining the most advanced technical solutions available in the sector. It features a CVT transmission produced by ZF and a front axle suspended via pneumatic systems, as well as a cab cushioned by pneumatic units. Inside, the suspended driver’s seat integrates a multifunction armrest with a touchscreen terminal, enabling assisted driving, connectivity, and ISOBUS communication between tractor and implements.
In addition, the Lintrac 160 LDrive incorporates Lindner’s full four-wheel steering system, offered for over a decade. When activated, it reduces the minimum turning radius from ten to approximately 8.5 meters, speeding up end-of-field maneuvers, advanced farm maintenance with a front loader, and other tasks performed in municipal areas, such as winter road cleaning.
A modern and highly versatile machine, it benefits not only from the ZF CVT “TMT14” four-stage electronically controlled transmission but also from a total weight of only seven tons. This allows front and rear lifting capacities of 3.8 and 7 tons, respectively, while keeping the tractor dynamic and responsive for light-duty work.

The choice of engine also contributes to this versatility. For the first time, Lindner uses an Italian FPT Industrial “N45” four-cylinder engine rated at 175 hp between 1,800 and 2,200 rpm, with 700 Nm of torque available between approximately 1,400 and 1,700 rpm.
Thanks to its clean and linear power curves, the engine pairs perfectly with the transmission, enabling the tractor to reach 50 km/h on the road at 1,660 rpm while operating in the field under the supervision of a Power Management system, now including the Smart Lift function, which automatically selects the correct gear when working with a front loader.
The tractor also offers four rear PTO speeds and a working hydraulic system capable of delivering up to 120 liters of oil per minute, organized with a load-sensing system driven by a Bosch Rexroth axial piston pump.
Notably, the multifunction joystick “LDrive” on the driver’s armrest allows manual acceleration and deceleration on the road, enhancing operator comfort. This pairs with the high visibility provided by the cab, automatic climate control, and, optionally, a winter package including heated seats, windshield, and side mirrors.
