Carraro Group’s presence at Agritechnica 2025 took place during a phase of strong technological evolution in the agricultural mechanization sector—a trend Carraro intends to lead by offering transmission systems and technological solutions designed to enhance efficiency, comfort, and sustainability in next-generation agricultural machinery

This approach includes both the CVT transmission for specialist tractors, described in this issue in the feature dedicated to the Claas Nexos 2 Cmatic tractors, and the new T135 EvoShift transmission, designed to equip utility tractors up to 135 hp but capable of handling power levels of up to 150 hp with boost.
The T135 EvoShift transmission features three ranges and six gears selected by an electronically controlled electro-hydraulic system, complemented by two powershift speeds and an electro-hydraulic shuttle. In total, it offers 36 forward and 18 reverse ratios, with the highest gear enabling a top speed of 40 km/h at 1,750 rpm when the Eco Speed mode is selected.
Carraro then moves from traditional propulsion to full electric with the eT75 transmission, a complete and modular system that can be configured in inline, parallel, or split layouts between the front and rear axles.

As for axles, in Germany Carraro debuted the 40.37 IFU (Independent Front Unit), a suspended module with independently controlled wheels via double-wishbone suspension, also prepared for driven configurations using direct, hydrostatic, or electric traction.
Still in the axle segment, but for combine harvesters, the 40.44M CTIS unit is also noteworthy, integrating a Central Tire Inflation System within the wheel hub for automatic tire pressure management.
