Farmall A by Case Ih series tractors to be released in 2026 with enhanced hydraulics, new brake-clutch function for aasier handling, and expanded digital features. Range extended with a 110 HP model
The need to work efficiently while maintaining high quality is gradually leading farms to increase the average power of their tractor fleets, allowing the use of larger implements. This trend is clearly reflected in high-end conventional tractors, whose maximum power outputs have risen over the past twenty years from 250–300 horsepower to 400–450, with peaks exceeding 500 horsepower.
This rise in engine performance has not been an end in itself, but has driven a parallel evolution of on-farm operational solutions—impacting even utility and general-purpose tractors typically used for logistics or light tillage tasks. For a long time, these machines averaged below 70–80 horsepower, but their performance has steadily increased, now reaching 110–120 horsepower.
Confirming this trend, Case Ih has launched a new 110-horsepower model within its “Farmall A” family, the entry-level range of the American brand in Italy. The newcomer joins the existing 90 and 100 HP four-cylinder models, bringing the total to six configurations within a lineup that also includes three-cylinder engines rated at 55, 65, and 75 HP.
This upward expansion of the range comes alongside a complete update. As Case Ih engineers have implemented a series of upgrades aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of each tractor—focusing on hydraulics, transmission, and digital systems.
The new hydraulic system now delivers up to 82 liters of oil per minute, improving implement response times and enabling the use of the optional “L625” front loader, capable of lifting over 1.7 tons to a height of 3.7 meters. Safety is ensured by a mechanical self-leveling system. With these upgrades, the Farmall A tractors can confidently handle even the most demanding lifting, transport, and material-handling tasks.
Repetitive operations are further simplified by the new “ActiveClutch” system, which disengages the transmission when the brake pedals are pressed. This works in tandem with a new power shuttle available for the 12×12 transmission. And allowing direction changes without using the clutch—greatly improving working speed and efficiency.
The 2026 Farmall A upgrades also include a new 130-liter fuel tank, styling in line with higher-class tractors, and—most notably—enhanced cab comfort. The four-post cab features full-length doors for easy access and unobstructed side visibility. It now comes with new digital instrument panels featuring adaptive lighting, and includes the “Lift-o-Matic” control system for electronic rear lift with mechanical draft control.
Additional updates extend into the realm of digital precision agriculture. The tractors can interface via ISOBUS with compatible implements and are equipped with the Case Ih “Pro 700 Plus” display. This integrates a connectivity system enabling instant data transfer to the new “FieldOps” farm management platform.
Furthermore, the “AccuGuide” automatic steering system is available, and when combined with “DirecSteer” steering control. It helps operators achieve precise, repeatable passes—maximizing productivity through improved operational efficiency.
